Dr. Daniel Pinos Galindo is an Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon who trained through the Spanish MIR residency programme at Málaga Regional University Hospital, with a career dedicated to facial cosmetic surgery and, in particular, blepharoplasty and rhinoplasty.
His international experience has been built at world-renowned centres such as Chang Gung Memorial Hospital (Taiwan), where he trained in plastic surgery and facial microsurgery. He has also taken part in advanced programmes in London and France, and completed a fellowship at the American Hospital in Istanbul with Dr. Teoman Dogan, an international benchmark in facial cosmetic surgery. He has completed mentorships in Brazil with renowned specialists, including The Art of Eyelid Surgery Mentoring Program with Dr. Marcelo Cury, consolidating his experience in aesthetic and functional blepharoplasty.
He holds a Master’s in Oral Surgery (University of Seville), a University Expert qualification (Universitat Internacional de Catalunya) and a Master’s in Orthognathic Surgery (Francisco de Vitoria University – Madrid). His training includes studies in dentofacial anomalies and surgical planning at Ortomax Madrid, as well as the Advanced Rhinoplasty Analysis programme (SBS London) and the FACE Method with Dr. Eduardo Linz. He is a member of the European Academy of Facial Plastic Surgery (EAFPS), the Spanish Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery (SECOM) and the Andalusian Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery (AACOMF), reaffirming his commitment to excellence and innovation in eyelid surgery and facial rejuvenation.

Blepharoplasty is eyelid surgery designed to rejuvenate the eyes by removing excess skin, fat or sagging. It improves a tired appearance, softens under-eye bags and can even widen the field of vision in patients with very droopy upper eyelids.
Blepharoplasty can be performed under local anaesthesia with sedation or, in some cases, under general anaesthesia. It usually takes 1 to 2 hours, depending on whether the upper eyelids, the lower eyelids or both are operated on.
